Colors!

I picked out colors for my room! :] The picture makes the purple washed out & the other colors seem brighter than they really are, but this is essentially it!  

Not to much has been going on with my room. I have lost my drive to clean, sadly. I am sure I will finish up by, like, Wednesday  or something. I haven't been doing nothing, though. I bought push pins! I have been hanging things on my walls! It is finally starting to look like MY room! I can't wait to paint! But no paint til EVERYTHING is clean. That is gonna be my motivation! I have organized my bookcase, too. I told my mom about wanting new furniture. She said I could get a desk, a vanity, and a new bookcase:]

Closet&Stuff

After cleaning in front of my closet, I had to tackle inside of it. I started to, but then I got reeeeaaaallly tired. I swept half of it out onto the floor I had just cleaned. If everything goes the way I want it to, tomorrow I will finish cleaning my closet, then if I feel like tackling under my bed, I will do that, too.

I have half a laundry basket full of clothes right now. I am assuming I will fill up at least two more with all the stuff I have left. But that is not a problem. I have become a pro at laundry as of late. :] The only thing I am hoping for is that I don't find any more shirts. My shirt drawer is about to burst. I had to roll all my undershirts up to make more room and I don't think there is even enough room for ONE MORE shirt. I don't know what I am going to do. They are all T-Shirts & spaghetti straps. I suppose I could hang them up, but you hang up nice stuff, not T- shirts. But if it comes down to it, I guess I am gonna have to.

All I really have left to do, besides my closet & under my bed, is to organize my bookcases, clear off both the dressers and do any other laundry that's left over. I can't believe that I have cleaned this much. I am not thinking of it as cleaning. I'm just doing it. Its weird.

HUGE Improvement!

Today was a HUGE day! :] Long story short, I could stand. In front of my closet. Not on junk. Yeah. I KNOW!

Long story long, I filled around four bags full of trash, two full of recyclables, I did over 10 loads of laundry, and cleaned everything off the floor in front of my closet. I took progress photos to show you! :]

Good Day!

Today was a good cleaning day. I filled 1 & 1/2 big trash bags and did another 4 or 5 loads of laundry. My drawers are all full ! :] That's pretty much all that I did today, but i'd like to think that progress has been made. I am about to change my bed sheets, shower, && turn in.

Also, I have been looking online for furniture. I am thinking, after I finish cleaning, I'd do a little redecorating: painting, moving furniture, getting a desk & shelves. I want my room to finally be mine. I hate looking at pink walls all day.

Anyways, here are some more photos of my very slow progress. Its weird that just that little bit of stuff filled 1 & 1/2 bags of trash. . :]

Binder Pencil Case

Today, I woke up to find a binder that I had asked my mom to get for me at Walmart. I needed it for my the screenplay I am working on. Anyways, I loaded it with paper && thought Now I need a place to keep my pencils. I recalled seeing a brand new pencil case somewhere in my room. So, I decided clean my room until I found it. && I FOUND IT! :] I already filled it with stuff :)

Setting goals

I have decided to set a goal for myself everyday by filling up at least one trash bag full of crap. I think it will help me get past all this...quicker.

Yay!

I found my ring!! :] It fell out of nowhere. I pulled something off my dresser and it fell on the ground. It was awesome. I just gave out a big "HA!" && I was jumping around everywhere.

So far, tonight, I have::
- done three loads of laundry (there is also a load in the washer & dryer right now) (Yup! its fixed!)
-filled one trash bag with garbage
-found 6 huge water bottles lying around
-semi- organized my drawing stuff
-hung up some of my hats,
-made a shoe drawer. (temporarily, for my nice shoes

I think that is pretty good for a few hours. My floor is a little clearer as well.

Frenzy!

I lost my class ring last Tuesday. I am pretty sure it fell off my bed. Onto my floor. Which isn't really a floor. Its more like an endless sea of miscellaneousness? Sure, lets go with that. About 20 minutes ago, I decided to go searching through everything. Needless to say, Things got worse? && I have manager to find: my sunglasses, A ring, an EARring, my flashlight, a panda purse from the San Diego Zoo, and my 4x4 Rubiks Cube.

In the process, my room has turned into this.

That is a quote from Shawn Hunter of Boy Meets World, from the episode where Mr. Feeny wanted them to get Superbowl tickets. He was sitting on the billboard with the Eskimo for that radio contest. && Cory brought him some hot chocolate while singing "I am warm and you are cold!" :] && The Eskimo was eating ice cream!

I thought of this quote to describe my room-cleaning endeavors. Most of the crap on my floor is clothes. Well, my washer broke and I have no way to wash any of my clothes. Therefore, 1) I am unable to clean my room to the best of my abilities and 2) I am going to run out of clothes soon. :/

But anyway, there is always going to be broken-washer-eskimo standing in my way.
